SUN LOUVRE AND ENTERTAINING PERGOLA FOR HOBSONVILLE SHOWHOME

One of many projects we’ve completed at Hobsonville Point, this one was for NZ’s most prolific home-building company, GJ Gardner. Our marine expertise working with powder-coated aluminium stood us in good stead, these homes being situated literally a stone’s throw from the ocean in the Launch Bay area of Hobsonville Point.

The projects commissioned will eventually span 12 homes, and were a combination of louvre systems and pergolas, made from Manson’s powder-coated aluminium. The catch was that all the pergolas had to be designed in such a way as to convert into louvre systems if the owners chose to upgrade. Another challenge we overcame on this job was extremely strict resource consent conditions. Attention to detail was crucial, all while working to a tight schedule alongside numerous other contractors. GJ’s don’t build nearly 1500 homes a year by dawdling, and we were proud to deliver showhome-quality products on time and on budget.
